About California Lemon Lawyers California Lemon Lawyers was founded in 2003 by Scott R. Kaufman. Dissatisfied with his past position at a profit-driven big firm, Mr. Kaufman left to start a law practice genuinely dedicated to helping consumers, not just the bottom line. Since founding the firm, he has hired Kevin Faulk and Elisa Swanson. At any one time, California Lemon Lawyers is actively helping over 125 California consumers. All the attorneys at California Lemon Lawyers are members of the National Association of Consumer Attorneys and regularly attend conferences to hone and expand their advocate skills.
